- (continued from previous page)are seven families in our district and there are thirty people in the district.The name most common (are) is Clarke('s), most of the houses are slated.The townland got its name in Irish "Coradua" means the bog of the black turf.There are three old people over seventy years of age, and they know a little Irish, (there) their names are Mrs. Clarke, Miss Clarke, and Mrs. Smith in the townland of Coradua.There is a part of it hilly and the remainder (and the rest) of it is bog, there is a little stream which separates the townland of Coradua from Beagh.
