  1. There is a poet in our district named Mr. Willie Reilly of Pottleduff in the Parish of Cross, who composed songs about WDan O'Holligan", "The travelling candy man", and "The sweet flower of Virginia".
    He is still living but has changed his place of residence to another district, he was naturally gifted.
    When banishing rats they write a note leave it at the rat's hole, and give them some place to go, they write these words on the note "Gael gull grunch", the head rat comes and carries the note off in his mouth, and the other rats must follow.
