morning as usual. This lasted for some time before the Minister became aware of it.
As soon as he did he made it his business to call on Pora. He asked him why he still continued to go to Mass although he had promised him to attend the Church regulary. Pora answered that he had kept his promise and he had no intention of breaking it. The Minister asked him why he was going to Mass. Pora replied that he was going to Mass for the good of his soul and that he was going to Church for the good of his cow. The Minister was so struct by his honesty that he told him that he could continue to feed his cow where she was. And Pora had no difficulty in precuring milk for his family after that.
