    Evictions
At Parnell's Cross near Kilrush there is the remains of a little farm called the "Evicted Farm."
It belonged to two old ladies by the name of Kinsella who were evicted in the Land League time, and were put in Gaol.
When they came out the people gave them a great welcome. They had a little goat which used to follow the two old ladies to the fairs.
It was called "the Evicted Goat"
My great grandfather knew the Kinsellas well, and had often seen them with their little goat at the fairs
