  1. There was a burning in Arva on May 3rd. The burning began after four oclock in the morning. A woman and man, his sister and two nieces were in the house. The woman saw it first and she called the man. They went to other doors to waken the people. All the house was burned and nothing was saved. Some part of the next house was burned. They wired for the fire brigade at five oclock. It came at eight oclock. When they came there was no water so they had to put a tube to the Lough.
