  1. Once upon a time a man named Tom Reilly was coming from Scrabby. He was coming on the Moyne road. He met a very big man whom he thought was some big man he knew. He spoke to him by his name. As soon as he did the hair stood on his head and could hear a frightful noise like the bushes being pulled by the roots out of the earth. He got a great fright. When he got home he fell in in the door. He fainted when he went in. He was not the better of it for a long time after.
