  1. There is one tailor in our district. His name is Kiernan. He has a very comfortable job and lives convenient to the road. He has all sorts of thread and other things. He makes men's suits and sometimes women's coats. He has a very nice house with one big window on it. He has a bench also and he sits up on this with his legs crossed. He sells material himself. He has a flat board that is called a goose for pressing the clothes and a big iron and a pair of scissors.
He has a very clean job. He never gets wet or cold and is always dry and clean. Long ago tailors used to go round to hoses to take people's measures and fit the suits to see were they big enough. They stopped this custom years ago. They are no stories or traditions connected with it.
