Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)village on the roadside. Each of the forges were stables converted into forges. One has Fine Iron the other has a slated roof. There is one fireplace in each forge. The smiths Bellows are composed of Iron, Wood, heather.
The Bellows were not made locally. The smith makes shoes for horses and asses he makes ploughs, gates, cranes for kitchen fireplaces and carries out repairs to farm implements. There is some part of the forge work done in the open such as shoeing wheels. Smiths are looked upon as been very strong as their muscles are so developed that you can notice them more on smiths arms than on any other kind of workmen. In years past the smiths used to make pike heads as implements of warfare.
Also a smith forge was a meeting place for rebels under the disguise of people getting work done. One disused forge was built for the purpose(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
