- There are three old graveyards that I know of in the Parish. They are Clonfad Graveyard, Newtown Graveyard, and Dalystown Graveyard.
I Know of Three people who were buried in Clonfad. They are James Keane's great-grandfather, his grandfather, and grandmother. They must be a long time there.
Another of them is Newtown Graveyard. There are some vaults in it. One of them is Captain Alec Pilkington's vaults. It is built up against the gable of the church, and it was opened in nineteen thirty six. There is a tree in it that has drooping road. Capt Pilkington vault was opened in 1936. His ghost was seen in his dress suit at the gates of Tore house, last month
Tore House was his home.
There is another grave yard a very old one. It is where the buildings wood now stands. There are some moulds which are covered with moss.
there is one in Dalystown, in which, Catholics and Protestants are buried.- Bailitheoir
