   There are a number of old customs which take place at funerals, for instance:-
   There is a cry which is called the "Irish cry". Only certain people belonging to the family can carry' on that.
   When a married woman dies four big black feathers are put on each side of the house.
   When an unmarried man dies the feathers are opposite colours.
   If a child dies children carry the coffin and the rest of the children carry sticks and white paper on them and leave them on the grave.

   There are very curious customs regarding funerals in this district, for example. It is not lucky to meet a funeral. If a person met one he should turn back and go part of the way with it.
