    should she see taking away the child but three fairy people. She ran after them, until at last she came to the lios in hot pursuit after the fairies. She caught the child by one hand and was trying hard to save it from them until at last the fairies had to give in.
    The fairies said that the child while she would live that she would be lame and so would all her descendants while there would be one of them in the world. The family of the Crotty's are still there and the oldest girl is very lame.
