    put some “Black Jack” – or some kindred dose – and gave the contents to Cumertún.
    The dose acted sure enough but not with the expected results.
    Cumertún tired of going into yonder field to ease himself – took off his breeches, shoes and stockings and without leaving the field “eased” himself without much ado and in doing so scarcely paused in his work.
    Before noon the whole 2 acres of hay were levelled by Cumertún, much to the anger of the parson.

    Cumertún was a practical joker as well and a brother of the Chief Baron’s (O Grady) named Henry – not sure if Henry is right – knew Cumertún was a “prime boy” and also knowing he was a member of the White Boys decided to punish him and try to make him behave himself.
    He was afraid however to do this work himself so
