  1. (continued from previous page)
describing how the Bloody Judge used have to be wheeled in a bath chair every day in the avenue; and that his skin rotted off his body, and that he used have to get a cow’s skin every morning to cover him as no clothes would be of any use to him.
His food was really a punishment to him. He had a raving desire of whiskey. His man who was supposed to spoon-feed him with whiskey used to drink most of it himself.
Finally a priest – a curate in *Bruff named Rev. Father. OGrady came and prayed over him and at last he died.
When the priest left the house the Judge was alive but when accosted at the lodge gate by the woman who lived therein he said – “Go up to the house and I think you will find him dead”.
The woman ran towards the house and found him dead.
The said Fr. OGrady was a cousin of the Bloody Judge.
    *Or from West Limerick.
