    There are two forts in the townland where I live, one in a sheltered position near a farm house, the other a quarter of a mile distant from the farmer on very high ground, commanding view of the whole country side, including Kinsale Harbour, part of the Atlantic, Carrigfadda the peak of the mountains of Kerry, Tipperary
