The custom of Saint Brigids Night is, that a lot of boys and girls dress up in old clothes and go into all the houses and ask for help, and it is called Bideorg's Night. On Shrove Tuesday Night alot of boys and girls dress as skelligs boys and go to houses and ask for a pancake, and in some houses they would get it, and in others they would not get any, and it is called pancake's night.2.
On Saint John's Eve people make Bonfires on the side of the road or in the fields, and they would make the cows go over it and they always put a black stick in the garden after the Bonfire has been quenched, because it is an old custom, and it is always done every year, and that night is called Bonfire's Night, and sometimes they would have a dance(continues on next page)- Collector
