It is an old custom that two people out of the same house do not get married on the same year. The two that get married and the bridegroom and bestman and the guests go in motor cars to the seaside or other nice places on the day of the wedding. It is an old custom, and, the people always keep it, that the bridegroom and best man cut the wedding cake over the bride's head and when they have it cut they hand it around to the people in plates.
