    Cows, calves, heifers, pigs A horse (several keep a donkey)
    Sheep by those who won portion of a hill - (Scotch Sheep)
    Goats (few in number usually one or three) are kept by some small farmer's with cows.
    Each cow gets a name; and after some time they the cows actually do know their names from SOUND.
    The following is a list of the names of cows in the district:-

    Báinní (white cow), The Grey Cow, Jer Mháire, The Small Cow, 'Speckle' Mickie Eóin, (Bt from a man named M.E.) 'Buckley', The Big Cow. The Yellow Cow.

    Hump; Cocked Horn, Bantry, Yearling, Greyey. Wild Cow, Canny Cow (she has a 'cannie' - white mark on Forhead) Reddie.

    Maol, White Horn, Blackies, Grey Eye
    5.
    Starrie, Báiní, Daisy, 'Cuillie' (speckled) Blackeen, 'Small Kerry'
