Fir Leíme:- A man named Richard Walsh Cadlcull (now dead) threw three standing jumps on top of a hill close to the school (maughanailea) Two large flags driven into the ground still mark the jump (performed over 50 years ago) No atlete now could do the jump as marked. The place is now called 'the Le'p'.
