Malin is also another very lonesome place. One night about two o'clock a man was coming from Adrigole.
When he came to the top of the hill, he should cross a stream to go home. When he came to the stream he saw a spirit standing on the opposite side of it. He sung a song which amounted to seven verses. He remained singing until cock-crow. The spirit had no more power after that, and the man went home safe.
