  1. There are very few "Lioses" in this part of the country, because it is not connected very much with wars or battles.
    There is a lios outside this school. It was never opened, but it is said that there is money buried there. There are several fairy stories connected with it. One night there were boys coming from town, and as they were passing the lios they saw a big light near it. They were frightened, and they ran back the road again. When they passed the school, the light disappeared. When they went to pass it again they saw a man standing near it. They spoke to him, but they got no reply. One of the boys said that they would go near him to find out what was there, but
