  1. There is a big field situated below our house. It is called Clais a Mhilín". In the corner of this field, there is a round deep hole. One night about fifteen years ago my father went for a walk to a neighbour's house. When he was coming home he heard somebody throwing stones into this hole. He stood listening to the great noise for a little while, but when he found out that it was fairies he ran home frightened.
