  1. There was a boy coming home from town one morning early It was about seven o'clock and was very dark. When he was half the way home he met a woman, a child and a dog. He spoke to the woman but he did not reply. He got lonley as he often heard that it was a bad sign to see a dog. When he was coming near the house, he met a man whom he knew. He told him what had happened, and the man was surprised as he was to Castletown too, and did not meet anybody.
