  1. The name that the people have for the Leprecháun in our district is the Luracháun. He wears a red jacket and a green cap, and very long shoes. He was seen mending sores, with a small hamer in his right hand. He is said to be about eighteen inches high, and he was seen in an old rath, and he ran into burrow in the ground.
