  1. We have about two acres of potatoes every year. The neighbours help one another. The names of the varieties are the Landworthies the Main-crops the Kerr-Pinks the Aran-Banners the Sharps-Express the Champions. The drills are made with a plough. When we pick them we make pits of them.
