    There is a field in Gaulstown to which a lane leads from the road between New Ross and Waterford and gold is said to be hidden there. One night a party of men were to dig for it but they were not long at work when they were hunted away by the bull that is guarding it. The gold is said to have been hidden there by Freyne the robber.
