    her little baby in the cradle. Finn pretended to sleep, and the giant so friendly shook hands with him. The baby took a bite out of one the giant's fingers. He now dreaded to meet the father, seeing what he got from the wife and the baby.
    The Scottish giant fled home and told how he fought all the giants in the world, but the Irish one.
    He said he did not see Finn, but saw the baby, and in proportion, dreaded to face him.
