  1. A Story
One night James Mullen was coming home from playing cards in a neighbour's house. As he was coming by a bridge at Killcarnen he saw something sitting on it. As he was passing by, the man stopped and asked him to play a game of cards, and as it was a nice moonlight night, they both sat down on the bridge and started to play cards. The strange man kept winning all the games, until he won all the money. Then James Mullen looked down and saw the stranger had cloven feet. He threw down the cards at once and went home, and died the following day.
