There are very many proverbs used in talking such as -a stitch in time saves nine that means that if a person had a hole in their dress and the minute they see it they put a stitch in it and (they) if they dident do that they would have to put nine stitches in it. A close mouth is the sign of a wise head. I trust him as far as I could throw a cow by the tail.
