    the birds are going for the crumbs, they jump on this rod, and the cage falls down on them.
    The game we play now mostly is handball. We find a good level wall for an alley. One boy throws the ball against the walls, and when it bounces on the ground, the other boy will hit it back again, and they take every second turn like that until one boy fails to strike it ; and then it scores one for his opponent. If a boy strikes the wall outside the mark this also counts for his opponent. It is a very interesting game. Big boys and old men play it as well as little boys.
