    With Vaseline and Casedine and Trask and Shelia Lute
    From Rathoneen to Lisadinge from Moan to Oyster Hall
    Without any invitation they came to Carroll's ball
    And all around the barrel they formed in a ring
    And when they had enough of stout they all began to sing
    For those who were invited there was nothing left at all
    Twas all consumed by thieves and rogues that night at Carroll's ball

    Thady walks up in the floor and says to Tom the flute.
    Come and get up your fife immediately and play for Shelia Lute
    Tom played up the black bird and Shelia took the floor.
