- There are two held in Ardfert in the year. One is held in May and the other held in July. The street is crowded with cattle on these days.
In Tralee there is a horse fair three times a year. There is a pig fair in Tralee Market once a fortnight.
Each farmer marks his cattle before taking them to the fair. He usually paint their necks or clips the hair off their necks.
