  1. One time there lived in the district
    of clifden two fishermen. One night they went out fishing and it was very fine. When they were very long fishing they saw a big ship and it was full of lights. They saw no one on it and they thought it might be a fairy one. when they were about to turn away they heard a voice saying "Go home or you will get drowned here". they did not heed this voice but they turned away from it. when they were a while fishing after that, a storm arose. the waves rose over the boat and it was going up and down. .
