    cradle. The all passed it but one officer. His name was De Burge. He stabbed the child to death with a bayonet. As he stabbed it to death the child was smiling in his face. He took up his estate soon afterwards. He was a very rich man, but he never had any comfort in his life. He could never look into a looking glass or attempt to shave himself. When he would look into a looking glass he could never see his own reflection but the smiling child whom he stabbed to death in the cradle.
