  1. Long ago there was a rich prince living in connaught. He was married to a nice young lady. They had three sons. She died a very young woman. Then he married again. As a stepmother she was very cruel to the three sons. She did not want them in the palace at all. She was planning to herself how would she banish them. One day she got their father gone away from home. She said to them We will play a game of chess. Before the game she said to the eldest Who ever will win the first two games they can put a request on each other. The stepmother happened to win the first game on the boys and the eldest boy won the second game. Then the stepmother told them to leave the palace and not to return until the would get Brian O'Buchan's sire and bring him here to me. Then the eldest son said to her you will have to go up on the top of this palace and stay there until
