    and in some cases by spitting. The man who has bought stock marks them with a "raddle", by putting mud on the flank, or by clipping the hair at the side with a scissors.
    When an animal is sold the halter or rope is sometimes given and sometimes retained - in the case of horses only. There are not any special horse, cattle or sheep fairs held here. At the fair which is held every month cattle, sheep and pigs are sold.
