    on the hole on the top one and then a man twists the handle on the top stone. As he is grinding, the flour goes out on the sheet. It is very hard labour and a person would not grind much at a time. They would only grind as much that would make a few cakes. They used grind barely for making potteen as they used have stills in the locality.
