The place which I am writing of, is in Killeeneen-More,
Situated near the church yard, which Chromwell knocked of yore,
He, and his thousand soldiers, came and knocked it down,
Now it stands in an ivey ruin, in the north of Boher na h-abann.
Both in Summer and in winter, this place is always clean,
No dirt is found upon the ground, or an other stain,
You'd think it is a marble hall, or a palace of renown
I deem it is a sacred spot, sweet charming Boher na h-abann.

- A quern is two stones which was used for grinding corn long ago. The underneath stone is left on a sheet on the ground and the overhead one is pressed on it. There is a hole in the center of the top one. The wheat goes into the hole(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
