- The carriage drawn by four horses.
It is said that every night at about twelve o clock there is a carriage drawn by four horses with no heads on them to be seen coming down the Church road. There is also a dog seen beside the carriage and it has no head on it. - The big White Dog.
This strange animal is also seen at Chalk Hill. This white dog is as big as a calf but it has red eyes. One night my grandfather was coming home from the chapel and when he came to Chalk-Hill this big dog caught a hold on him and would not let him go. Until at last a light of a motor-car came and the big dog disappeared. When my grandfather came home he went to bed and after a few months he died.- Collector
