The carriage drawn by four horses.
It is said that every night at about twelve o clock there is a carriage drawn by four horses with no heads on them to be seen coming down the Church road. There is also a dog seen beside the carriage and it has no head on it.

The big White Dog.
This strange animal is also seen at Chalk Hill. This white dog is as big as a calf but it has red eyes. One night my grandfather was coming home from the chapel and when he came to Chalk-Hill this big dog caught a hold on him and would not let him go. Until at last a light of a motor-car came and the big dog disappeared. When my grandfather came home he went to bed and after a few months he died.
