- The Landlord
The landlord for this district was Baron De Robuk. He was landlord over Parlickstown, Tyrrellstown, Buzzardstown and the Bay and a lot of the adjoining farms. He did not reside in the district but resided at Grange Naas about twenty miles away. He was always looked upon as a very good landlord. There was no evictions carried out in the district. Buzzardstown was divided into farms under the landlord's guidance. Farms were not sub-divided amongst members of families on marriage. In many cases the members of the families were settled by arbritation. The landlord always retained the game rites of the land. People were not punished for trivial acts.
