- Commauns Bridge was made about seven or eight years ago. My father and Patrick Jennings made it.
There was a wooden bridge before the cement bridge.
It was swept away by a flood. - About the time of the Famine or a little before it, Lord Lucan who lived in Castlebra owned all the land around the town(continues on next page)
