- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)the beast went back to the sea. Jack went home out the horse and the suit in and put in the cows. The man told Jack to come the next day but he said he would not. Jack let out the cows as usual next day put on another suit, hot another horse and set off for the gathering. He came and put his head down on her knee and then she knew it was the same boy as was in it yesterday. He then went down to the sea and the horse drank his fill. The beast came in and after a great struggle Jack killed him and cut off his head. Everyone was very glad and the king's daughter and Jack got married. They had a wedding that lasted for a year and a day and the last day was as good as the first and the both lived happily from that on.
