  1. Catching Eels with Night Lines
    There is another way of catching eels and it is with night-lines. First a boy goes to the shop and he buys pike-line. When he came home he put seventeen or eighteen big bits of line on the night-line called droppers. A dropper is a bit of line going down to the bottom of the river from the pike-line. He made sure that when he was putting on the worm, he would not have any part of the worm slinging or to have him loosely on the hook. When he is putting his hooks into the
