  2. A pan of gold in the convent grounds. There is a strange story told about this gold. Once upon a time when the robbers were in Ireland they went up to where the ruins were to take all they had. They gathered up all the gold and put it into a big pot. After that they went down to the river and they dropped it in and and it went to the bottom. It is in front of the priests house now but no one ever found it. Long ago when the gold was long hid a man went down for it but he did not
