- (continued from previous page)no business fishing for pike on a bright summer's day. A man gets a fishing rod and he attaches a strong line on to the end of the rod. Then he gets a spoon bait and he ties the bait on to the end of the line. The best time for fishing for pike is on a dark evening after a shower when the wind is blowing from the south. Then he goes to the lake. When he reaches the lake he throws the line out. If he feels a pike at the bait he draws up and down the lake to wear him out. Then he pulls him in and he brings him home.
