When old Mrs Dolan of Corr (who was a McCormack) was about to die, her daughter-in-law heard loud crying and said to herself: 'It is a shame for Pat (the old woman's son) to be crying like that, does he not know that his mother is old, he cannot expect her to live forever". Then she went out to speak to him. Outside the door she saw a small grey haired woman crying loudly. Mrs Dolan (junior) went in and the Banshee moved away still crying. This happened early in the evening about nine or ten years ago.
Mrs Dolan tells this story. She has a vivid recollection of all the details.
