is twenty yards in breath. Our place bounds the four waters, Silvergrove, Doumadh, Coolnahilla, and Newtown. The long meadow is called by that name because it is long, the hill because it is so high. Poll na gcapall because a horse got drowned in it. Jacks forth because it is there the fairies are at work by night, dancing by the side of a big stone. The stone is about ten feet in height and there is a hole through the middle of it. There is a shallow drain around it, and a paling to keep away the cattle.
