  1. St Ultan's well is situated in Mr. Peter McCabe's farm in the townland of Coratinure. It is now gone dry as a nearby drain was sunk and this drained the well. It is built round with flags. Some time ago a white-thorn bush grew over it, but it is now decayed.
    Long ago there would be a Pattern Day at the well. Anyone (when) who went to this well left a hanckerchief or some part of his clothing near it. The Pattern Day was on the fourth of December. The Patterns ended about seventy years ago.
