    Dick Fitzgerald of Lyreaoune who afterwards lived and died in Scrahanagullane, was reputed the greatest bowlplayer of 70 years ago.
    A man named Linehan of Kingwilliamstown was called "The Bowler"
    Another favourite game played was "casting" Casting = throwing a heavy stone as far as possible
