  1. Whooping cough.
    (1) The leavings of the ferret.
    (2) Pass child under and over a donkey's back nine times and it wont whoop.
    (3) If "mac mic gabhann" gave you a soc ceadhcha without asking for it, it would cure the whooping cough by tying it around the childs neck.
    (4) Donkey's milk will cure it.
    Ringworm.
    (1) A person born on Good Friday and baptised on Easter Sunday had the cure for it in his index finger

    (2) The seventh son of 7th son in succession has the same power.
    Warts.
    (1) To spit on them (fasting) for nine mornings (also slime of a snail rubbed on)
    (2) Put meat into a bag and hide it understone.
    (3) Put a stone for every wart into a bag and throw it at
    "Lus na mbánta" boiled with goats milk was also used.
